Far too often, innocent individuals are the ones to suffer serious injuries when accidents occur. In many cases, those parties may not even have time to realize that something bad is about to happen before they suffer serious injuries. Unfortunately, those injuries could affect their lives for a considerable amount of time.

It was recently reported that a car crash in California left one individual with major injuries. The incident occurred when a vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a building. Authorities suspect that the incident may have been connected to a street race. A worker was inside the building doing tile work at the time of the incident, and there were at least two people in the vehicle when it crashed.

Additional details on what may have caused the accident were not provided in the report. The parties involved did suffer injuries, and the tile worker was reported as having suffered major injuries. The two individuals in the vehicle were moderately injured. All were transported to an area hospital for treatment. More information on their conditions may be available at a later time.

Due to the nature of this accident, the worker who suffered serious injuries may have reason to file a personal injury claim against the driver considered at fault. Suffering harm in a car accident can lead to major setbacks, and this innocent individual may face difficulties pertaining to recovery, paying for medical expenses and losing income due to time away from work. Pursuing compensation for those and other damages allowable under California law may be worth considering.
