Our Story

Our Founding History

In 1971, Michael Lewis and Alan Marenstein wanted to advocate for the rights of injured workers. Mr. Lewis worked at State Compensation Insurance Fund, while Mr. Marenstein gained experience with the city of Los Angeles. They pooled their years of service to form what has become one of the premier workers’ compensation firms in the region.

Over nearly five decades, attorneys Lewis and Marenstein have added Thomas Wicke, Robert Sherwin, Gold Lee & Adam Turner. We leverage the combined experience and knowledge of our attorneys, junior partners and associates.
